strikeouts per game, seventh in career sacrifice hits with 20 and tied for
seventh in career batting average against with a .273 mark.
Junior • 2008
Named the Ivy League Player of the Week March 25 after going 7 for 19 at the
plate with three runs, four RBI and one double in six games ... Started 38 games
at shortstop and nine on the mound ... Led the team with 13 sacrifice bunts and
103 assists in the field, the former good for a tie for third and the latter
good for a tie for fifth in the Crimson’s all-time single-season record book ...
Batted .266 with 17 runs on 29 hits, including three doubles and one home run
with nine RBI ... Was 4 for 6 on the basepaths and fielded at a .948 clip ...
Went 1-3 and had one save on the mound with a 5.04 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 33.1
innings of work ... Opposing players hit just .225 (9 for 40) with two outs ...
Was 3 for 3 with one run scored and two RBI in a 7-6 win over Birmingham
Southern March 21 ... Gave up one earned run on three hits in three innings of
work March 27 against Maine to pick up her lone save of the season ... Gave up
three runs, one earned, on four hits in 4.1 innings of work in a 6-3 win at Yale
April 13 to earn the win ... Hit a home run and knocked in two runs in a 5-2 win
at Dartmouth April 27.
Sophomore • 2007
Appeared in 39 games, starting 32 ... Made 23 starts in rightfield and also
started games in left, at short and as the designated player ... Pitched in nine
games with six starts ... Registered 12 strikeouts in 22.1 innings ... Struck
out five and walked just one in a five-inning no-hitter against St. Joseph’s for
Harvard’s first win of the season (March 4) ... Pitched an inning of perfect
relief to notch a save at Quinnipiac (April 19) ... Scored tying run in
Harvard’s 11-8 comeback win at Dartmouth to clinch the Ivy League North Division
championship (May 1) ... Started five-game hitting streak (March 3-10) with
single against Michigan State ... Had four multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4
effort in 9-8 win against Wright State in the Mercer Nissan Invitational (March
24) ... Went 2 for 2 with a run batted in against Brown (April 22) and was 2 for
4 with two runs scored March 11 against Miami (Ohio) ... Played collegiately on
her native Long Island for the first time in NCAA Regional at Hofstra.
Freshman • 2006
Led the team with a .317 batting average ... Started in 22 games—seven at
pitcher—and appeared in 37 games ... Had 20 hits with 14 runs scored, seven RBI,
and three stolen bases ... Hit a double with two runs scored and an RBI in the
6-2 win at Brown ... Went 2-for-4 in a 5-1 win over Holy Cross and then went
3-for-4 in the 6-1 win over Holy Cross ... Hit safely in seven of nine games
from April 23 to May 5 ... Had a 3.40 ERA, third-lowest on the team ... Posted a
5-2 record with two complete games ... Finished second on the team in strike
outs with 66 in 68 innings of work ... Pitched a complete game in a 3-2 victory
over Boston University allowing only two hits and two unearned runs while
striking out 11 ... Retired 10 batters in seven innings of work in Harvard’s 9-4
win over Iona ... Struck out at least one batter in 18 of 20 appearances from
March 4 to April 29.
